ABOUT ROSALITA

We thought we were changing what we made.

It turned out God was changing why we make at all.

For more than twelve years, Rosalita was a clothing business. We designed, sewed, packed and sent garments to women around the world. What began around a table slowly became production, and somewhere along the way, the making became louder than the reason we had begun.

Then life interrupted us.

There were difficult years. A business that changed. A home we had to leave. And, eventually, a cancer diagnosis that brought life into a much sharper focus.

Through it all, we found ourselves returning to something remarkably simple: the Word of God, the work of our hands, and the ordinary life right in front of us.

Not a new formula for living or another system to master, but a return.

To listen before rushing ahead.
To build our days around what we say we believe.
To make with intention rather than simply produce more.
And to carry our faith into the ordinary ways we live and love.

That journey changed Rosalita too.

Today, Rosalita is a Quiet Atelier: a place where faith, teaching and making meet around two working tables.

At one table, Talita listens, studies, writes, teaches and creates the journals and companions that have grown from our own journey from Drift → Rhythm.

At the other, Drean works with wood, leather and simple materials, giving physical form to pieces designed to be used, held and lived with.

There is still sewing here. There are still patterns, linen, thread and beautiful things being made.

But making is no longer the destination.

It is part of the practice.

Because we aren't trying to master life.

We're learning from the Master how to live it.

And Rosalita is simply an invitation to pull up a chair and learn alongside us.
